It was VERY exciting to see this! How will you be contacting old patients from the prior practice? Will the prior office be sharing info once it becomes available & sending updated info or will you possibly be mailing info out? Will the prior office even provide you access to your patient lists?

This website is the only access we have to our patients and vice versa. No patient lists are being shared. We will make sure to persevere and find our patients!

Hi Dr. Loukanova,

Should patients request there medical records now or is that something that is done upon the first visit to your new space?

Unfortunately, the old office will not be providing us with any patient information. We were told that they will share the new address and phone if the patients are requesting that information. By mid July we should have information regarding our office location and phone number available for them to give to patients. We will post on this website as well. We rely on all of our patients to spread the word. We will advertise but we cannot proactively contact any of our old patients. We have seen tremendous support from our colleagues, patients, and the rest of the community and we believe that all of our patients will find us. We should not allow corporate rules to get between doctor patient relationships. Once the new office is open mid July, any patients that want to transfer to us will be given release of information forms to sign and from that moment on, we should have no problem getting you record. It will take a village to open the new office and we rely on all of you. Thank you so much for your support!

Thank you Dr Loukanova, SO glad to find you. I tried the email I had been given earlier but now with this can at least follow your forum. I was so upset to hear you are no longer on Bass Road but who knows this may turn out to be a wonderful move and you'll be on to bigger and better things!  If I ask at your Bass Road office and fill out and sign some kind of form will they give me or forward my records to give you when you are set up again?

You are the best doctor I have ever had and I definitely plan to continue with you. Thanks and good luck

Change is Good.  But, I am not changing doctors.  I will wait Dr. Milena Loukanova.  I have had you as my primary doctor since I moved to Cape Coral.  You were there when I needed more than a doctor.  I will gladly wait but I hope you let us know when you are opening up.

Thanks for being my doctor and I wish you the best in your new venture.

Dr. Adriana Loukanova,

This is Sheila Frost. I received a letter last week and was unnerved by Bass Road telling me you left abruptly and there was no contact information. I am happy to find this page and that you are still in the area. Please keep my contact information, after so many years I absolutely do not want to start over with a new doctor. I will follow the forums and put my contact info on the profile. Besides I have lab work due to you in July ; ) Congratulations and so glad to find you.

I had an appointment with you, Dr. Adriana Loukanova, on Dec. 14 on Bass Rd. and hope I will be able to keep this appointment on that date or on any another date wherever you are.  I respect your knowledge, caring personality, and kindness and am so happy that  there is a way to be in touch with you and tell you that I was very happy with having you as my Dr. and hope it continues.  My best wishes to you and your sister in getting back to doing what .you need to do.  Good luck and my very best wishes, Betty Lantz

My wife and I had scheduled an appointment. Luckily I just called because I had to reschedule and was told that you were no longer with the practice.

Is there a time frame as to when you will be accepting patients again?

We would like to wait, because we are plant based, but we're wondering if it would be a good idea to see another doctor in the interim?

Also, will you be accepting Aetna?

Yes, we will be accepting new patients. We are planning to start 20th-30th of July. The updates will be on the website.

We couldn't notify you, because we weren't given a chance to do it. As of May 18th, the day we left, we have had no access whatsoever to any patient information. Of course that cannot stop you, the patients and us, the doctors, will find each other if we want to.

At present we are working with all insurances to offer what we had before, Aetna included. It's a process which we are currently going through now.

Milena Loukanova
